Vajihollah Jafari, Deputy Minister for Mining and Mineral Processing at the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, stated on the sidelines of the 10th Specialized Mining, Steel, and Value Chain Development Exhibition in Yazd that the event was successfully held through the efforts of the Yazd International Exhibition Center, economic stakeholders in the mining sector, the Governorate, and provincial officials. He emphasized that the exhibition witnessed the strong presence of companies active in the mining and mineral industries sectors.
He added that the broad participation of companies in mining and mineral industries demonstrates that, despite the country’s economic conditions, this sector remains alive, dynamic, and impactful, and is capable of playing a significant role in supporting Iran’s economy.
Referring to the statistics presented at the exhibition, Jafari noted that, according to reports, this year’s exhibition recorded approximately 20 percent growth compared to the previous year in terms of both the number of participating companies and the exhibition space allocated to booths. He stated that this growth reflects the upward trend in mining activities and related industries.
The Deputy Minister for Mining and Mineral Processing also expressed hope that, given the appropriate exhibition design, effective planning, and increased utilization of exhibition space, next year’s event will be held at an even higher level, with stronger participation from mining and mineral industry stakeholders.
