Regarding the quantitative and qualitative development of the Yazd International Exhibition Center, he said: In the master plan, the quantitative development of 12 thousand square meters of exhibition space and 6 thousand square meters of service and entertainment space is predicted, which we are looking for by choosing the right contractor between two and three This plan will be implemented next year.

Physical development in accordance with the needs of the people and the dignity of the province

Ahmad Ghafi also stated that the master plan for the development of the physical space of the exhibition is in accordance with the needs of the people and the dignity of Yazd province, as well as the planning plan of the province and was prepared by international consultants. In terms of facade and interior space, it is in accordance with the architecture of modern and up-to-date exhibitions. Currently, the preliminary architectural plan has been completed and it is in the design phase of the structure and facilities.

In response to the criticisms about the current space of the Yazd exhibition compared to exhibitions such as Isfahan and Tabriz, he said: Unfortunately, during the construction of the current hall, the principles of architecture and its uses were not paid attention to, and public spaces such as mother and child were neglected. All these cases were due to the weakness in the initial design, however, we tried to fix the shortcomings of the current space to a large extent, while according to the new design, a complex will be built in honor of Yazd province.

Ahmad Ghafi described meeting people's expectations as one of the main goals of the exhibition and added: I believe that journalists play a great role in identifying and conveying strengths and weaknesses for the proper holding of exhibition events.

At the same time, he considered the presence of a strong board of directors consisting of prominent managers of the province in industry and economy as one of the strong points of this group and said: The strong board of directors made the planning of exhibition events according to the needs of the province.

Ghafi, explaining the number of exhibition events last year, said: In the second half of 1400, due to the corona restrictions, 15 exhibitions were held in the second half of the year, which increased to 21 exhibitions in 1401.

According to the CEO of Yazd International Exhibition, last year 26 exhibition events were held with the presence of many representatives from different provinces, while the presence of 36 foreign participants or their representatives also had a great impact on the quality level of this exhibition.
